About IM:
Intelligent Machines is an AI-first enterprise software company in Dhaka, about 40 people.
We build and run large-scale software for bKash and Unilever. In 2026 we are shifting from
services to building our own SaaS products for enterprise customers, with the first
launching in December 2026. This role anchors the product engineering team.
What you will do:
Own the architecture and technical decisions for our products.
Stay hands-on. This is a builder role — you will write and ship code every week while
guiding others.
Design for scale from day one: multi-tenant, secure, cost-aware.
Own the infrastructure end to end: cloud setup, deployment pipelines, monitoring,
security, and cloud cost control.
Set the standard for AI-assisted development across the team — tools, workflow, code
review.
Mentor the mid-level engineers and raise the bar on what the team ships.
Work with the founder on the product and technical roadmap.
What we need:
6+ years full stack, including architecture ownership of a SaaS product that scaled in
production.
Hands-on DevOps experience: you have set up and run production infrastructure
yourself — CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and security hardening
on GCP or AWS.
Production ownership experience: uptime, security, cost, and incident response were
your problems.
Strong in a modern stack: React or Next.js, Node.js or Python, PostgreSQL or MySQL,
and one major cloud (GCP preferred, AWS fine).
AI-native: you use AI coding tools daily and have real judgment about where AI belongs
inside a product. We will ask you to show your workflow.
A track record of shipping fast in small teams. You choose working software over long
polish cycles.
Clear communicator who can explain technical choices to non-technical leadership.
Good to have:
B2B or enterprise SaaS sold to large companies.
Mobile or offline-first apps built for low-connectivity environments.
Experience taking a product from Bangladesh to other markets.
Salary: BDT 180,000–200,000 per month, based on experience and interview performance.
